Part 1 (Required): Jun 15 | 1800-2100 | Grand Pacific Hotel, Victoria or by videoconference

Videoconference available at Duncan, Tofino, Nanaimo, Comox, Campbell River, Port McNeill, and Port Hardy.

Part 2 (Optional*): choice of Aug 13 or Sep 10 | 1800-1900 | Teleconference

 

Free: Course materials provided. Dinner available in Victoria.

 

Key topics & speakers: Medical Health Officer will explain the rationale for routine HIV testing and discuss the new provincial testing guidelines. Vancouver Island physicians with expertise in HIV care will discuss the role of the family physician, resources to support routine testing, how to integrate routine testing into practice, and how to connect HIV-positive patients to care.
