Speaker Bio:
Dr. Leslie Lappalainen completed her family medicine residency at the University of Ottawa, and subsequently pursued additional training in addiction medicine through the University of British Columbia Enhanced Skills Program in Vancouver, BC. She currently works as a staff physician with the addiction medicine consult team at St. Pauls Hospital. To complement her work at St. Pauls, Dr. Lappalainen is completing a research fellowship in addiction medicine and also works at a local recovery house for women and Vancouver Detox.
