Dr. Launette Rieb is a family physician and Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Family Practice at UBC. Her graduate work was in the area of pain neurophysiology. She is certified by the American Board of Addiction Medicine and the Canadian Society of Addiction Medicine. She was the co-creator and initial Physician Director of the St. Paul’s Hospital Goldcorp Addiction Medicine Fellowship and is currently a NIDA sponsored Canadian Addiction Medicine Research Fellow. Dr. Rieb works clinically at OrionHealth (Vancouver Pain Clinic), The Orchard Recovery Centre, and in the Immunodeficiency Clinic at St Paul’s hospital. She is the recipient of a UBC Post Graduate Teaching Award.
