Jason Grebely is an Associate Professor in the Viral Hepatitis Clinical Program at the Kirby Institute in the Faculty of Medicine at UNSW Australia in Sydney. Jason completed his BSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and his PhD in Pharmacology at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. He then moved to Australia where he completed a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Clinical Epidemiology at the Kirby Institute, University of New South Wales with Professor Gregory Dore. Jason now continues to work in Australia as an Associate Professor and NHMRC Career Development Fellow at the Kirby Institute, but maintains close collaborations with his Canadian colleagues. Research interests include epidemiology, natural history and therapeutic strategies for acute and chronic HCV infection in people who inject drugs.
