Continuing Professional Development Learning Series for Hope to Health Staff
The goal of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program is to ensure that health care providers and front-line staff at the Hope to Health Research and Innovation Centre are equipped with the appropriate knowledge and expertise to interact with clients that have complex care needs as well as significant co-morbidities. The program embraces an interdisciplinary approach to care and will include presentations that focus on both medical and social issues that clients of the centre may be faced with.
The CPD program commenced in January 2020 and will run on a monthly basis with sessions generally from 8:30AM to 10:00AM on a Monday or Wednesday. Topics for the initial phase of the program will be derived from ongoing needs assessment of the team at the Hope to Health Research and Innovation Centre.
